Living room window area at 7033 Emlen str.
Bad walls and some ceiling areas too, I made nice & smooth!} in the Living Room....by way of patching hairline cracks & holes with drywall tape then plastering the imperfections then I layered the whole room with compound { sometimes called a skim coat } Note: I SANDED all the walls & ceiling areas with my 5 inch round orbit sander & 60 course sandpaper for rough sanding, cleaned the dusts & applied a coat ok Kilz-2 primer sealer.....I did this app process before I APPLIED any patching building materials on the plaster surface......Note: I do alot of sheet rock work and I know how to prepare any plaster wall surface!!!
I applied drywall tape then plaster first to holes & hairline cracks and uneven surfaces then I 100% joint compounded all the walls & partial ceiling spots in order to make repairs. Note: I cleaned the old sheet rock surfaces between each work process step involved...I painted the living room area as well with primer then regular paints Note: two totally separate applications.... The home is on 7033 Emlen str. Phila PA. {This is only about one city block from Lincoln Dr.} these homes are expensive!!! in Mount Airy!
